Doctor of Economics, Professor. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. Y. Primakov was a Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Education.
The author of several monographs and books of memoirs. His books are reprinted abroad in Chinese, Italian, English, Bulgarian, Turkish, Persian, Arabic, German, Japanese, Greek, Serbian, Macedonian, Romanian and French.

The life of Yevgeny Primakov

Yevgeny Primakov was born in Kiev.

Each session was summed up in a note which was sent to President Putin via a courier service. The President was writing a resolution on these notes and was giving relevant instructions.

A regular basis of exchanging views

According to the ex-official of Political Bureau CPSU Valery Kuznetsov, Primakov and Putin have regularly exchanged views on political issues.

He had the nickname "Primus"

In the highest political circles his nickname was "Primus" (the Kerosene stove). On the last birthday of Yevgeny Maksimovich on October 29, 2014, the kerosene stove of 1980 with the inscription "Record-1" was among the top gifts that were handed over to Primakov by Russian President Putin.

Yevgeny Primakov passed away

The funeral ceremony was held by the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill in the Assumption Cathedral of the Novodevichy Convent on June 29. He was buried with military honors in the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow.

"Of course, I did not defy the fate, but it led me. As for the assessment of all, well, if it's all coming to the finish, I have to say that I had a good life."
